Spencer Stilwell (spencerstilwell)

This is a story with something to it, but it's diluted with the romance (or just two characters with different interests). Most of the story's points are inferred through some vague anecdotes or dialog with little to do with the point(s). The movie's ambiguity is too much for the final point to be about donations.

This is worth a couple looks before finalizing a review. Sam Rockwell is great, and the filmmaking, production design, and premises unload some shnazziness.

Moving. Sean Penn is flawless, and Emile Hirsch is absolutely stunning; the Oscars should watch out for Mr. Hirsch.

There are two problems with this movie. It covers so much very quick which makes it hard for the viewers unfamiliar with Firefly, and the music doesn't have the same swagger and twang as the TV series. Other than those two, relatively tiny issues, this finishes off something that shouldn't have stopped. Firefly that is. The spectrum of writing is epicly designed, and the payoff is incredible!
