While beautiful cinematographically, there wasn't much to this movie. And the sudden jumps in time and multiple-role characters were a bit annoying, even if they were meant to be symbolic.

Another sexually charged Catherine Breillat film. Rather pointless, and a bit depressing.

Stallone got typecast but he really is an intelligent guy - as evidenced by this poignant story he penned; my favorite movie for many years
