Up Up PG
Up is what I am beginning to expect from Pixar. I havent really loved a Pixar film since Monsters, Inc, but this is still a pretty entertaining movie, and at about the same level as the others. I dont know if that is because I am outgrowing PIxar or not.

The characters were more interesting, and I cared about them more than I did for Wall-E, even Doug. And the story was very cute, but way more serious than I was expecting. I cried a lot, but I dont think that is necessarily a bad thing in a kids movie, because the young ones probably wouldnt see it the same way, and will simply enjoy it for the excitement. And on that front this is most definitely a movie for young kids. It is seen in the previews that there was a talking dog, but I didnt expect the villain to have an entire army of talking dogs that can fly planes and do all the house work including the cooking. It was a little ridiculous.

But I am glad that this has a lot more endearing moments than I have seen in a Pixar movie in awhile, which is one of the things I love the most about Monsters Inc and Toy Story.
Zombieland Zombieland R
The only reason anyone would call this a horror movie is because of the presence of a common horror element. Zombies. But this is in no way a horror story. It was first and foremost a buddy movie, then a comedy, then an action. I liked the action. This movie had style. I enjoyed the casual atmosphere they created, the narration, and the survival rules. Extremely unique. But it didnt wow me. I was kind of expecting more after all the good things I had heard. Also the premise and the genre combination should have been a sure thing for me. I think the 'buddy' aspect was too much of a focus for my liking, instead of just focusing on survival, action, and kicking zombie ass.

Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope PG
There is nothing like this movie. Nowhere can you find characters that you can feel for as much as these, or with a story that feels so real yet is a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. The lightsaber duel is clearly dated, but there is still more emotion in it than in some later duels (i.e. Obi-Wan, Anakin, Yoda vs. Dooku). It is always fascinating to watch the beloved characters come together, as if watching it for the first time (except a few characters, such as Yoda, who we don't meet until later episodes). While watching the closing scene, why do we find ourselves as proud as Han and Luke?
Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back PG
The same as A New Hope, but more. Excitement more than you could have imagined. The battle of Hoth, a sight to be remembered. And in the Bespin cloud city, drama like has never been seen before, as the heroes are betrayed and handed over to their mortal enemy, Han is taken away, and Luke discovers that his ultimate foe is also his father. Why, as Vader says the words, do we shiver to the bone?
