A quite enjoyable little film,based on a real story.I watched it primarily because Robert Carlyle is in it but in the end it turned out quite good,a real feel-good movie.I love Scotland and Scottish history and that's probably why i liked the movie as much as i did.Although it has it's flaws,the dialog is weak at moments and so is the acting,the movie is definitely worth a watch,if only for the beautiful Scottish scenery through the movie.

The best american horror i have seen in a long long time.Sam Raimi thank you! They were right to dub this ''the return of classic horror''.If your familiar with Sam Raimi's earlier work you'll love this to death,it's got that something that made me watch Evil Dead a few more times than a sane person should.The cast is all spot on and perfect.Alison Lohman and Justin Long's performances were great.The effects in the movie are also great.I actually got frightened a few times and the ending was great.Definitely a movie I'll watch again.
