The only reason I saw this was to see Michael C Hall do something other than Dexter, and I kind of wish he didn't have the part so I wouldn't have seen it. All in all a pretty average sci fi thriller about humans controlling humans in online games. I didn't know it was done by the same people who did Crank before I saw it, and during the film I found the style very similar, although the film wasn't as good.

Stop Loss R

I thought the first 20 minutes of this was pretty ordinary, but it really picked up thanks to some good performances. I'd never heard of 'stop-loss' before this film, and after seeing it all I can say is that US soldiers are pretty hard done by.

Apocalypse Now R

This is the best movie ever made. Period. Deep, dark, and more meaningful with each viewing. The 'Redux' version is even better than the original..

Pulp Fiction R

This is Tarantino at his very best, and one of my favourite films of all time. Excellent casting, characters and direction make this truly exceptional.
