Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana were amazing together. The ending was kind of stupid, but other all the movie was amazing. Anything with Rachel McAdams in it is worth giving a shot!
Well acted, very entertaining, but I never felt there was any urgency or all that much at stake.
It's cute, but not much happens. They give away the "surprises" because of the time traveling thing, so it's like watching a movie with someone telling you the next scene before you can see it.
There are moments of genius. But more often than not, the movie is plagued by moments of cheesiness. That being said, the movie portrays a story about love and absence that will resonate with most people who have fallen in love before.
Keep little girls AWAY from this movie lest they think paedophiles will be their future husbands. A creepy love story.
There are definatly parts here that work well, and thanks to the leads, its not a complete failure. It certainly isn't going to start a new sub-genre in romantic cinema, but its certainly the harmless, guilt-free affair that it set out to be. Nothing more, nothing less.

overall not a bad film.....not great though....it settled for a really straight 4wrd lovey dovey film.....but rachel mcadams waz terrific!!!!
it was kind of hard to follow. and some how felt like the movie wasn't put together that well. i enjoyed it. but it could have been so much better! eric bana and rachel mcadams make sort of an odd couple. They make it work most of the time though.
This was a great movie. Though there were some parts that I thought it got a little bit boring, but for the most part it was great. A brilliant tear jerker, and after the movie my mascara was running down my face! Rachel McAdams was fantastic in this movie and so was Eric Bana!

pretty enjoyable, but i expected more, especially more epicness, which this film fails to deliver. bana's hospital-drama face does not help either.

Nowhere near as good as the book, however, if they were to include everything in the book, you would be looking at least 3 hours runtime. If was a good shortened version of the story and I thought they pulled it off brilliantly.
As a movie, this was pretty acceptable but if you read the book, I cannot stress this enough: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PILE. Absolutely atrocious as an adaptation. The book was fantastic but this movie is lacking in almost every way possible as far as a book to movie conversion goes.
It wasn't bad. I liked how it tried to stay true to the book as much as possible, even though a lot of stuff had to be left out. But it meant that some things weren't explained very well and just...happened or weren't fully developed.

One of the must see movies since "The Notebook" also starring McAdams. Romantic love story with a Sci-fi twist that doesnt over do it or ruin the movie with fake attributtes. You'll fall for Bana's Devotion and McAdams Unsettling love.
I think that reading the book first made this much easier to comprehend.
