Claudia Puig, USA Today

Where Pinocchio was about wishing on a star, The Princess and the Frog emphasizes backing up wishes with hard work. That proviso is a thoughtful message for young moviegoers. full review

Although I'm greatly anticpating this movie(mainly because it's in 2-D, and the main character is black, w00t!), I just have to say that she'd really not the first black princess...

What about Kida from Atlantis? She was clearly black, I mean, she was voiced by Cree Summers, for God's sake! Whay does everyone forget her? Is it because she wan't the main character?! If that's the reason, it's bull~ Even Mulan, Nani and Lilo are "Disney princesses" even though they weren't royalty!

Just sayin'... Think about it people
