If you have been following the Sarah Connor Chronicles and love a bit of Terminator action, Salvation, will follow your hunger in this film things heat up, but it still feels like its not the end.

The year is 2018, the sky is ashen, machines rule the world, and the only humans which remain (who've undergone a humour bypass) constitute "The Resistance". That's the simplified synopsis of -

This was very different from waht they made sofar and from what I heard that was the plan. I actually liked it. Having seen all the others I thought this was a nice change. Very dark, but very good. The story was semi good, the cast was great and the overall execution was very Ho...( read more)

As far as technical stuff goes, this movie is excellent, it looks and soiunds great. Hats off to the art and sound departments and the camera crew. And to Danny Elfman, doing not only a great job as usual, but a great job incorporating iBrad Fiedel's work into his own. I liked th...( read more)

For entertainment's sake this movie delivered but as a sequel in the Terminator franchise it fell short, although still much better than that 3rd shitty film. Christian Bale was adequate as John Connor but i though Anton Yelchin was weak as Kyle Reese. I liked the look of the m...( read more)

Critic Reviews
Terminator Salvation is a confused, humorless grind, with nobody, from the stars to the set designers, prepared to prick its self-importance. full review
T4 is a mixed bag, but it's not f------- amateur. full review
Terminator Salvation is so programmed, so impersonal, that it practically dares you to warm to its characters. full review
The movie suffers from an inevitable tedium, which can best be summarized as: bang-bang-bang; pow, pow; fireball, fireball; ka-boom! full review
The Terminator franchise was built on thrills, imagination, narrative, emotion, believability, character development and watchability. Terminator Salvation has plenty of thrills. full review
Terminator Salvation feels both comfortable with its limitations and justly proud of its accomplishments. full review
Packed with two hours of non-stop action, it delivers everything you could want from a 'Terminator' film and more. Much more. full review
Few characters ever say more than a couple of sentences at a time, and when they do, it's often to assert the obvious. full review
McG's boyish sensationalism is inoffensive, justified by paying attention to how Wright preserves an unlikely human essence. Worthington is a find. full review

June 17, 2009I think the film was amazing... Much better than I expected cos' it seemed difficult to imagine how a fourth terminator could be good^^ The actors were great especially the two leading roles Christian Bale and Sam Worthington

May 23, 2009Altho I liked the movie on some levels, I was a bit dissapointed on others. The special effects were great, but the fight scenes were not realistic, and we all know terminators cant swim, and a few of the plot points didnt quite make sense. It could have been better. sigh.

May 21, 2009I went to this movie with an open mind ,but even after the first 10 mins. I wanted to walk out (which is something I have never done) the only problem was I was with my boyfriend who sat their with a delightful smile as we watched two hours of non-stop explosions. I do not recommend this movie unless you feel the need to watch things blow up time and time again.

May 20, 2009As if Arnie is going to be in it, any1 who thought that is clearly an idiot. Hes like 70 and the governor of California, the movie will kick ass without him, just like the sarah connor chronicles kicked ass without him.

April 16, 2009Just looking at the trailer looks like the terminator series is back.its more darker and just by the way it looks hopes to destroy that last film that was a bomb.
-
April 11, 2009I am excited. I think it's cool the trailer used Nine Inch Nails song "The Day The Whole World Went Away"
-
April 3, 2009i believe this movie will be like the dark knight in 2009 and its not a reboot its a sequal to terminator 3 but this is in the future
-
March 24, 2009Terminator doesn't has its essence without Arnie.Though Christian Bale has done a good job.
