The main problem with this is trying to stomach anything that Zac Efron does. He's trying to steer away from the musical, but somehow get wrangled into yet another dance sequence in this film. The basic story is not all that good and it's been done before in the recent past. T...( read more)he humor is decent at times as Thomas Lennon does his best to save the movie. It's meant for a teen crowd and there's not much need for anyone else to see it.

Actually pretty funny and surprisingly clean! I like Matthew Perry, but I knew he wouldn't be in it much considering the premise of the film. Even so, I thought it was absolutely hilarious -- especially Ned (Thomas Lennon)! He cracked me up! :D

This was pretty cute. My daughter and I sat down to watch this together. Kinda reminded me a little of "Like Father Like Son" from back in the day with Kirk Cameron, rofl. The sory was reall nice, but sometmes it felt like the acting was "fake".Overall it was cute and somewhat ent...( read more)ertaining...

Ok Ok i was really wanting to hate this movie, but after 15 mins i started to enjoy this movie by numbers. Great performance from thomas lennon as the late 30's star wars geek. But it was Zac Efon that really shine and put in the funny and warm performance. As long as he give up hig...( read more)h school musical he should go on to do some good work. All in all a good and funny movie yes you seen it all before but its the stars who mould it togeather.

I'm not proud but I watched it. I'm less proud because I liked it.
Thomas Lennon stole every scene he was in hence the extra half star.

I'm too embarrassed to say anything else positive about this movie so I'll leave it at that.

MY THOUGHT: its a fun lite fun movie, these kind of movie never disappoint u caz its always easy fun movie and u dont need to put ut brain watchin these moives. the plot was interesting goin back to high school as a teenager and take care of ur kids there, it was fun. zac improving day by day as a actor. the movie went very well thought-out, and it was very funny at some time. so all in all a good funny movie to watch.

MY RECOMMENDATION : it will fresh up ur mood so go watch and enjoy.

Wow, I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Especially with the lead being a twinkledouche named Zac without the h.

Still, I have always liked the premise of these types of movies: 18Again (George Burns), Vice Versa (Fred Savage), Like Father Like Son (Kirk Cameron), etc...( read more). No body switching in this one, but same kind of thing. I was surprised by the acting of Zac still every time he took a beatdown I laughed hard! I was also impressed by his dribbling skills - he had a hard time with the layups but still looked like he took some time to learn a few things unlike Michael J. Fox in Teen Wolf.

Thomas Lennon, who played Ned Gold, Zac's best friend and Uber Geek, was the funniest part of this movie. Had me laughing in every scene. Best part of the movie.

What is with putting 24 year olds like Michelle Trachtenberg in the roles of 16 year olds?? Well I guess Zac is 22. eh, who cares.

A good movie that teach something.
By the way, time is so terrible that handsome boys can be so different when they grow up...

17 Again takes a while to get cooking, and at times it just feels like a pale imitation of 13 Going on 30. Still, it's often breezily entertaining, partly thanks to Efron, who certainly knows how to b... full review

Though not as clever as 13 Going on 30 or Freaky Friday, it's also not as hokey as Hannah. For a swoon-fest aimed at tweens, 17 Again has a lot going for it. full review
