A very good film that mixes a lot of different ideas. Imagine a melting pot of Romeo & Juliet, Bring it on and Boyz n' the hood. It's a good story with a talented young cast and a great feel good film.

I can watch this movie over and over and not get bored. I wish I could dance like that!

It is a better than average romancey drama. There's a lot worse out there. Might even get a better rating if it weren't so darn plain.

Nice romantic dance movie. A classic tale of love without racial predujice.
Critic Reviews
Stiles and Thomas supply what this movie needs most: a heartbeat. full review
Stiles and Thomas are good together, in a warm and fuzzy, as opposed to hot and heavy, sort of way.
The setup promises cliches, but the development is intelligent, the characters are more complicated than we expect, and the ending doesn't tie everything up in a predictable way. full review
