This is a nice film, it really looks great, the animation is smooth, fluid and is very close to the Seuss material. Its the best Seuss film so far, much better than the live action versions but I suppose its easier with animation.
Its so close to the books, really good and the v...( read more) -

i was blown away by how much i enjoyed this "G" kids flick. on an adult level, this story plays as an alegory into the conversation of theism vs. naturalism, and for the kids, its a great way to encourage them to flex their imaginations. my kids loved it and i enjoyed watching ...( read more)

Critic Reviews
Horton Hears a Who! is razzle-dazzling and artful, and it builds on Seuss' words by the clever cart-full. full review
When Horton sticks to the sweet, funny spirit of its source, though, all's right with the worlds, big and little. full review
On the 14th of March, from the Land of L.A., comes a film based on Seuss that I'm happy to say, isn't overblown junk like The Cat in The Hat -- a movie that messed with the book and fell flat. full review
Horton Hears a Who! represents a fresh, and mostly refreshing, approach in Hollywood's pillaging of the good doctor's oeuvre. full review
Joyously maintains the rhythmic syntax and considerate spirit of Dr. Seuss. full review
Earlier big-screen adaptations have smothered the good doctor's unpretentious whimsy under layers of production bloat. Horton feels as blithe and confident of its unpretentious virtues as its long-nos... full review
What distinguishes Horton Hears a Who! from the other recent Dr. Seuss film adaptations is that it is not one of the worst movies ever made. full review

June 29, 2009This was a cute movie...a lot better than I expected. The singing at the end was kinda corny, but other than that, I enjoyed it! :D I like Jojo ^_^

I thought this motion picture was absolutely wonderful. It portrayed a great message, of how a persons a person, no matter who they are or how small they are. I really think this movie changed the way i see things. I hope anyone who watches this movie will see it as beautiful and heartwarming as i did.
Overall i would give this motion picture a 10 out of 10. Well done to everyone who helped to make this. From Jim Carrey and Steve Carrell, to the director, editors and just everyone who helped, you are all fabulous for helping to make a amazing motion picture. You should all be proud! -
April 12, 2008Why is Dane Cook listed as an actor for this movie? He didn't do a voice for it...

April 3, 2008i loved this movie. it was so cute, funny, and entertaining. You will fall in love with Horton, because his character grows on you. This movie also has its inspirational points. Horton keeps his word and holds on to what he believes in, to the very end. He is honest and true, and alway remembers everything. There is a part towards the end that is kinda sad, but it gets happy again, and the ending is so sweet. I totally loved this movie.

April 3, 2008STill want to see it, even though it's been made into a political anti-homeschool movie (the book had NOTHING to do with schooling)
