The worst fight scenes in cinema history are in this movie. You have to see it for yourself but please for the sake of your own health, don't.

November 6, 2009So far, the most competent work from Uwe Boll I've seen. It's not as funny as House of the Dead, but it does offer enough badness, cheesiness and ridiculous amounts of blood to keep me sort of entertained. It was better than Rise of the Lycans.

October 26, 2009the cast listing was good enough and the story, althought done before, was okay. what turned out to be it's downfall was it just wasn't put together very well at all and the main role was given to miss Loken. she gives the same bad performance as she did in T3. a shame really.

July 11, 2007The movie did suck, but the concept was accurate. Just like the games, it went with the plot. I thought the games were much better, and if you want a good vampire movie watch "Queen of the Damned."

June 20, 2007Hey, guys, are you out of your mind? This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen! I love both games but this movie is a lot of crap! I've even heard that this movie got some kind of reward for worst directing. Why are you so excited with a sex scene there?! In games Rayne was truly sexy, but this scene make her image so vulgar. That was not even a beautiful presentation, that was just oriented for retarded youngsters, who are eager to see tits on the screen.
Then, as for changes in the plot. OK, I don't pretend that the movie should have been shot based on game's plot only, with no changes. But. To my mind, the movie completely twisted BloodRayne's image. All this love storylines don't match the original idea. Treachery, revenge are all right, but not love. Not that type of movie. -

February 12, 2007I tjink to enjoy this movie you have to have a love of blood, Gore and it might help to have played the game. I think Uwe Ball is a unique director and recommend people to watch his other movies llike Alone in the Dark.
