Even if it has share of faults, it's still the most entertaining Batman movie.

Joel Schumacher continues his assault on epileptics in one of the worst films ever!

When is the last time anyone watched this? It is, quite possibly, the worst film of all time. The infamous "nipples on the batsuit"? They're the least of this movie's problems. Even actors who have proven to have talent manage to suck in this. And the look of the whole thing ...( read more)

This could be the worst mega budget film ever made in my eyes, the thing is...its actually meant to be serious and all the cast are playing it serious and trying their best to be cool and sexy lol
Clooney is the worst Batman ever, plus he cant act anyway, there's still that itchi...( read more) -

Easily the worst installment in the Batman movies. It's almost so bad that it's funny, but not quite. I have to hand it to Arnold Schwarzenegger for going completely insane for his role as Mr. Freeze, at least it was entertaining. George Clooney was just terrible, he didn't even ...( read more)

November 16, 2007This sucks even more than the previous Batman movie! Clooney makes the worst Batman ever seen; he's so bad that's it's just unforgivable.
I actually paid to see this! After the torture...er, movie was over, I wanted go right up to the projector booth, kill the projectionist, smash up the box-office until they gave me my money back, and then burn down the theatre for showing it!
This movie sucks so much that it SHOULD have been called Schumacher the Bat Vacuum!
Do yourself a favor and never see this steaming pile of shit. See Tim Burton's Batman films instead. -
June 24, 2007Ok, so I know it wasn't the best, it was an ok movie and I liked the actors in it. It was a little crazy and definitely not up to par with the others, but it wasn't as bad as most people are saying--as for the goofy puns, refer to the Batman of the 60's, as campy as you can get! But whatever the Director of Batman & Robin was thinking it didn't quite mesh and didn't really work.

February 5, 2007It is easy to see why this film sucked so badly becoming one of the worst films of 1997. Not even George Clooney or Uma Thurman couldn't save this movie. Nor Arnold. Blame Joel Schumacher for destroying the "Batman" franchise. Another reason why? The careers of both Alicia Silverstone and Chris O'Donnell were completely destroyed in this movie, which to this day why both of these actors are M.I.A.(Missing In Action) in Hollywood. By the way Alicia Silverstone was riding high as a great actress before her abyss here who went from "Clueless"(her breakthrough film and the one that rocketed her career) to a downward slide. And her role as "Batgirl" was the slide that botch her career. Same can be said for Chris O'Donnell. Because of this, the franchise wasn't heard of until 2005,when Christopher Nolan revived it and brought it back to life in "Batman Begins".

October 26, 2006I have never, ever watched this movie since I saw it in theaters. I cannot believe how incredibly lame this movie was. It's like this movie was planned to bomb. Remember the scene where Batman and Robin are underwater (and why are they getting their A**es handed to them anyways?) and Robin surfaces and the film is played backwards as he is dragged under again? Or the unbelieveably pathetic puns from Mr. Freeze? And who could forget the inexplicable ice skates within their boots?

A 3 star average for this film on Flixster?! What on earth is going on here? Half a star is being generous for this movie. -

May 22, 2006Joel Schumacher was the man credited as killing the Batman franchise and with this, his second attempt, it's easy to see why. With dialogue from villan Mr Freeze such as: "You're not sending ME to the COOLER!", the nipples on the Batsuit and next to no cognitive direction at all.
Not even the ravaging beauty of Uma Thurman can save this film. I'd be prepared to view 364 hours of the home shopping channel, then be subjected to this dog of a film again. Praise Christopher Nolan for his wonderful follow-up Batman Begins, where the only person out of their depth was Katie Holmes as the love interest... eewww!
