More funny, more creative, and better way of illustrating the rejected losers vs. spoiled traditionalists of the college life rivalry than Amanda Byne's Sydney White.

In terms of plot, lets face it, its pretty basic. If you saw the trailer, you know the plot. But what makes this movie great are the one liners. So if you like quick wit and just really want to laugh this is a good movie to go see. Its not too gratuitous and over the top, and it ...( read more)

Fairly standard and predictable teen comedy affair. Justin 'I'm a mac' Long is a likeable enough lead and the supporting cast are fun. Lewis Black more or less plays himself and while there's nothing new or inventive here, it does have its laughs and doesn't have to resort to sex...( read more)

It was funny and interesting and even inspired me to dream about having my own college someday. :-) But many parts were just stupid.

Critic Reviews
A campus comedy that's as dull as bong water, Accepted is like the product of a community college filmmaking class, remedial division. full review
Too much of the plot is eaten up with clichéd assaults on a stodgy mainstream college and its pretty, gel-afflicted frat boys, who care waaayyy less about the liberal arts than whacking around pledges... full review
Accepted is trying to be a new species of Animal House, but at least that 1978 comedy had no pretensions of being more than a boisterous spoof of college life. full review
Low of brow and pure of heart, the movie plays like Animal House extra-lite, and as such it's decent indecent fun. full review
It takes approximately 15 seconds for Accepted to begin showcasing Mac products, a somewhat foregone conclusion given star Justin Long's stint as the face of Apple computers' recent ad campaign. full review
