Toy Story (1995,  G)
Toy Story
The movie that began the age of Pixar - it blew us all away with stunning animation and a story that both children and adults could approach.
2
A Bug's Life (1998,  G)
A Bug's Life
While not necessarily their greatest cartoon, this film still managed to pull off the usual flair for comedy and well-executed sight gags that other Pixar films have managed while still showing-off amazing animation skill.

You could say this was just another step in the continuing evolution of Pixar Studios on their way to clearly marking out their territory and their position as top of the animated heap.

Toy Story 2 (1999,  G)
Toy Story 2
Sequels tend to be worse than the original but Pixar managed to retain the integrity of the characters and make things even better.
4
Monsters, Inc. (2001,  G)
Monsters, Inc.
Pixar movies are typically top notch and Monsters, Inc. is a welcome addition to the Pixar family of films. Funny and witty and the story ain't half bad.
5
Finding Nemo (2003,  G)
Finding Nemo
I LOVED this movie so much! Another Pixar classic!
6
The Incredibles (2004,  PG)
The Incredibles
I just can't resist superheroes and this Pixar addition to the genre was amazing - another example of why Pixar continues to be the best at what it does.
7
Cars (2006,  G)
Cars
As much as I love Pixar movies in general, I found Cars to be just average and somewhat disappointing.

Maybe it's because I just don't get the whole NASCAR concept or perhaps because I don't find Larry the Cable Guy funny. Who knows really.

At the end of the day, it's just an okay movie along the lines of all those other CGI movies that pop up these. Along those lines it's a decent attempt. In comparison to Pixar's previous works, it's quite the failure.

Ratatouille (2007,  G)
Ratatouille
I absolutely loved this movie!

Sure, I know I'm like one of the hugest suckers for Pixar films, but this one certainly stands apart from the rest of them in the same ranks as the likes of Finding Nemo.

I guess how they delved into the world of professional cooking and cuisine was just so invigorating and detailed that it almost seemed plausible apart from the anthropomorphic rat managing the cooking.

The humor and the overall quality of the writing and its execution is top-notch, as is pretty much to be expected from a project involving Brad Bird, and I'm just glad that Pixar is still making movies after that time of inconsistency when they were negotiating with Disney.

WALL-E (2008,  G)
WALL-E
As a Pixar movie lover, it's pretty hard for them to do wrong in my book and thankfully this latest film was no exception to that rule. While I wouldn't jump to saying this was their best work just yet, it was certainly very entertaining.

I can see the kind of gamble they took in making most of the film essentially "silent" given the lack of regular dialog, but it worked out well enough in the end. They also managed to ensure that the movie appealed to different audiences on multiple levels, as many Pixar films tend to do.
