One of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen! Sam Mendes gives us a great movies... I love the story that the writer made... For me, it's just an incredible story... I love the character of Kevin Spacey and Anette Bening played... They're just a perfect match... 5 Academy Awards winner describes to us too that this movie was really 'beautiful'. You can get somethin' when you watch this movie.. I think the cast are brilliant, the directing was great... and of course, the story was the best!! |

The Green Mile (1999, R)
Great novel from Stephen King, great adaptation by Frank Darabont... The first thing I hear about this movie was this movie about 3 hours long... So maybe I kinda a little lazy to watch it.. But what I saw after about 3 hours long was a great experience... Frank Darabont makes a great movie about humanity, the life of human... The emotion showed very very well in this movie.. I just felt like I can feel what happens in that movie... Actually, I think Tom Hanks didn't play well in this movie... His performance was good, but not outstanding like in Forrest Gump where he got an Oscar for that.... Great performance come from the other cast... I just said that this movie had a brilliant cast... They're all played beautifully... Great movie by Frank Darabont... |

Bicentennial Man (1999, PG)
What a very touching story from Chris Columbus... He's the master for creating a great family movie... Robin Williams shows pretty good acting here, even from his sound I know that he's hard trying to be a robot... And the ending, it really really makes me cry... That one is one of the best movie ending I've ever seen, the touching one... Now Chris Columbus movies becomes my favorite... I really really wanted to see this movie again... |

Never Been Kissed (1999, PG-13)
It's a lovely teen movie... Drew Barrymore really shows her great acts in this movie, she's the talented one... And a little surprising that this movie got some talented young actors that become famous in nowadays like Jessica Alba and James Franco, they just great... Great and lovely movie about teenagers... |

Varsity Blues (1999, R)
Well, I'm surprised how good this film turn into... I know it is a typical teenager movie, but this time it's about football... The story in this movie was wrapped beautifully, I must say that I enjoyed the story... And for the cast, having Jon Voight in this movie make this movie got a higher score than it should be because of Voight shows a strong performance in this movie... And for the teenager cast, they grow up well... Paul Walker, Ali Larter, Scott Caan, and Amy Smart, maybe not too popular in nowadays, but I know about them... Just James Van Der Beek who I never heard about... But overall, it's entertaining!!! |

Big Daddy (1999, PG-13)It's pretty funny movie from Sandler... The beginning didn't make me impress, I think the story will go like 'Billy Madison' way, but thanks it didn't... The chemistry between Sandler and Sprouse was great, I think it works for the people who watch it... And some scenes were really funny... I think it's better for Adam playing in comedy like this, when he becomes the real adults, not becomes adults who is childish... |

Deep Blue Sea (1999, R)
Well, after a huge success of Steven Spielberg's Jaws, it is like every filmmaker in Hollywood wants to make a movie about shark, with a little different story on it, but still they don't realize their mistakes about making a type of movie like this, just like this movie did... First, the story is too confusing for ordinary people.... A research with a will to help human using animals, in this movie they use shark, the story is so ordinary for a movie about animal attack... Then when the place was drowning and some people inside of it were trying to escape, it become like Poseidon I think... Even with a help from Samuel L. Jackson in this movie, I still thinking that Samuel's decision to join the cast of this movie is a big mistakes... Overall, watch it while you like the type of this movie, or you don't have another movie to watch for killing your leisure time... |
