Nothing short of Amazing.I felt I owed this to my Dad who was in the Marine Corps. He was a Gunnery Sargent forever. He served in Both Korea and the Vietnam wars.He is still alive and ticking and got all his wits about him. After seeing as many war movies as I have I don't see how this man is still as intact as he seems.Anyway He is my hero always will be PERIOD.This movie was spine chilling.I loved it from minute one.Gosh the cast was not only stellar, but dam they were so young.I just don't know what else to say but dam if you haven't seen this one yet you owe it to yourself to do so.It really is something very special. |

One for the list is The Good The Bad and the Ugly How about woody Allen Flicks and early classics like the Fly or Get Carter and Alfie ( God Bless Michael Caine) Weird Science or comedy classics like American Pie? theres nothing from Richard Prior Stir Crazy? How about Police academy, Angels with Dirty Faces, Once upon a time in America,Leon,French Connection, Ronin,The Shining,Terminator,Conan, hell where is,Saving Private Ryan,Mississippi burning,Schindler L Lord of The Rings, Lost Boys, Top Gun,Godzilla,Mission Imp,Gladiator, Cheech and Chong? jrridenour posted 152 days ago
not a great list. you lost your way quite early on. You start mixing genres. this is a "guy" movie list. I will be the first to admit that I love the "matrix" for example, but there isn't really anything about that movie that says, i'm one of the top 10 "guy" movies of all time. Maybe top 10 in sci-fi. Ok, maybe that's a little too nitpicky. But, about 60 of your movies are without question "guy movies." The other 40 or so are arguable at best. And even if they are guy movies their order is messed up. For example, "office space." A cult classic. Is it a "guy" movie?? Maybe. Should it be placed as a better "guy" movie than "lethal weapon"? Absolutely not. That's not just personal preference, its an objective truth. Additionally, Barbarella and Princess Bride are mentioned, but you leave out "the rock," "predator," and "braveheart" (just to name a few of the more obvious oversights). What's up with that?
clanoftorturers posted 143 days ago
Barbarella, and really anything that Jane did shouldn't be on this list, maybe if You did a Commie, Traitor, Bitch, list then put her at the top. She can rot in hell before I EVER see one of her movies.

bah, with the exception of fight club this proves i'm really not a guy O_o
